Heidi KlumHeidi Klum is a German model, television producer, businesswoman, and an actress. She hosts and produces reality television program known as “Project Runway”. Heidi Klum transformed herself from model to supermodel joining the ranks of Tyra Banks, Yasmeen Ghauri, Stephaine Seymour and Helena Christensen.

Heidi Klum was born on 1st June 1973 in Bergisch Gladbach in Germany. Her career as a swimsuit star and a top fashion model began when she submitted her photos to a modeling competition which was held by a young woman’s magazine known as Petra. She won the competition and signed with the German modeling agency known as “Metropolitan”. After successful modeling in Europe for some years, she arrived to the United States to pursue modeling, culminating in the relationship with Victoria’s Secret. This enhanced her modeling career and in 1998, she became one of the top models. In addition, she got marketing opportunities that includes her own signature lines of jewelry, perfume and sandals. Klum has been featured on the covers of the magazine such as Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue. She became well-known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and her appearances on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Klum has hosted the Victoria’s Secret fashion shows for many years. Heidi Klum was a spokesmodel for Braun, H & M, Liz Claiborne and McDonald’s, among others. Besides modeling, she also appeared in many TV shows, including Sex and the City, How I Met Your Mother, Dear, and Spin City. She has also acted in the movies such as Ella Enchanted, Blow Dry and also had cameo appearances in the Perfect Stranger and The Devil Wears Prada. Klum is featured in the video game Everything or Nothing. She also appeared in many music videos like "Love Foolosophy", "Young, Fresh n' New" and "Secret".

In 2007, Heidi Klum ranked third among the top 15 highest paid supermodels and in 2008, she took the first place. She ended her relationship with Victoria’s Secret in 2010 after working for 13 years with the brand. Later on, she partnered with Amazon.com and Balance to launch a clothing line and signed a deal to host Seriously Funny Kids.
