Bundchen has appeared on the covers on various fashion magazines such as W, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Face, i-D and many others. She also deals with some of the biggest companies of the world such as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Bulgari, Joop!, Lanvin, Guerlain, DSquared, Vivo, Colcci, Nivea, St. John, Otto, and Valentino.

Born on 20th July 1980, Gisele Bundchen originally wanted to become a professional volleyball player. While studying in school, Gisele was so thin that her friends used to call her “Olive Oyl” and “Saracura”. At the age of 13, Bundchen joined a modeling course along with her sisters Gabriela and Patricia. Bundchen went to a shopping mall where she was discovered by a modeling agency and was selected for a national contest known as “Elite Look of the Year”, in which she finished in the second position.

Vogue editor crowned Bundchen as the “model of the millennium” and in the same year (,) she was called as “The return of the sexy model”, by Vogue. Bundchen moved to London in 1997 and auditioned for 42 shows. In 1998, she posed for Chloe, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, Gianfranco Ferre, Ralph Lauren, and Versace campaigns. Bundchen has been featured in the Pirelli Calendar 2001 as well as of 2006; and in broader market publications which includes Vanity Fair, TIME, Forbes, Veja and Newsweek, over 600 magazine covers all over the world. In 2003, she got a chance to host the reality show named as “America’s Next Top Model” ,but she refused. During 2009-10, Bundchen was reported as the highest earning supermodel. She currently owns a land in Trancoso, a hotel in Brazil, a house in California and a villa in Costa rica.
